Last updated: September 23, 2026 LotSlate is an offline livestock sale ledger. It does not require an account, and the app does not send records to its developer. It has no advertising, analytics, tracking, cloud sync, or third-party SDKs.
Information stored on your device
You may enter event names, exhibitor names and clubs, buyer names and optional contact details, lot descriptions and weights, bids, premiums, allocations, notes, and clerk or countersigner names. LotSlate stores these records locally, along with recovery snapshots and unfinished bid drafts.
Exports, sharing, printing, and backups
Records leave the app when you choose to export a file, share with another app or recipient, or print through AirPrint. These outputs can contain sale records, contact details you entered, and signature names. Check the recipient and file contents before sharing. Other apps and services handle shared copies under their own policies. Your device's operating system may include LotSlate data in device backups, depending on your settings. LotSlate does not provide its own cloud backup or synchronization service.
Your control over records
You can export a complete JSON backup, restore a backup, and delete a sale and its local recovery snapshots from Settings. Deleting records in LotSlate does not delete copies you previously exported or shared, or copies held in operating-system backups. Temporary export files are cleared when the app next launches.
Permissions and practice data
LotSlate does not request camera, microphone, location, photo-library, or tracking access. File import grants access only to the file you choose. The built-in practice sale uses fictional records without contact details.
Purchases
LotSlate is a one-time paid App Store download. Apple handles purchase processing and payment information under its own privacy policy. We do not receive your payment card information. There are no subscriptions, per-event fees, or in-app purchases.

LotSlate is provided by Oak & Finch Interactive LLC. For support or privacy questions, email hello@oakandfinchinteractive.com. If you email us, we receive the message and attachments you choose to send and use them to answer your request; our email providers process that correspondence. Do not send unredacted sale backups when requesting help unless they are necessary and you intend to share their contents.
