A recipe library that stays yours.

SupperScript is designed to keep your recipe library close to you. We do not sell your information, use advertising trackers, or require an account to save and cook recipes.

SupperScript stores the recipes, notes, cooking progress, and other recipe details you add in the app on your device. The app accesses the camera or photo library only after you choose to scan a recipe card, cookbook page, or screenshot.

Text recognition begins on your device. In the current prerelease implementation, when you use optional cloud cleanup for a scan, the image you selected and the recognized recipe text may be sent over an encrypted connection to OakShield, a recipe-processing service operated for this app. OakShield forwards that request to the Hugging Face inference service so Tavi can help turn the scan into an editable recipe. We use scan content to provide the recipe cleanup you requested, not for advertising or sale.

If you are signed in to iCloud, SupperScript can keep a private copy of your recipe library in your personal iCloud account so the same recipes can appear on your other SupperScript devices. That copy is stored in your private CloudKit database and is not visible to other SupperScript users or Oak & Finch Interactive.

You can use SupperScript without iCloud. If iCloud is unavailable, your recipe library remains on the device where you created it.

When you choose to share or export a recipe, iOS lets you select where it goes. SupperScript does not send that share or export to Oak & Finch Interactive.

The current prerelease app is designed without third-party advertising, tracking, or an analytics service. Apple provides the optional iCloud and system services used by the app. OakShield processes a selected scan only when cloud cleanup is used; provider credentials stay on the service rather than in the app. The OakShield implementation stores app-attestation key identifiers, public keys, counters, and creation timestamps to verify requests.

The cloud path above reflects the prerelease implementation. The configuration used for release, including provider logging and retention settings, has not yet been confirmed. This policy does not specify a retention period for cloud scan content or security records.

You can deny or revoke camera and photo-library permission in iOS Settings. You can remove recipes from your library, delete the app's local data, and manage iCloud data through your Apple account settings.
