A recipe library that stays yours.

SupperScript is designed to keep your recipe library close to you. We do not sell your information, use advertising trackers, or require an account to save and cook recipes.

SupperScript stores the recipes, family stories, attribution, photos, notes, cooking progress, and collection capture drafts you add in the app on your device. The app accesses the camera or photo library only after you choose to add a recipe page or a family or dish photo. Collection capture drafts stay on the device where they were captured until you save the recipes.

Text recognition begins on your device. When you use optional cloud cleanup for a scan, the image you selected and the recognized recipe text may be sent over an encrypted connection to OakShield, a recipe-processing service operated for this app. OakShield forwards that request to the Hugging Face inference service so Tavi can help turn the scan into an editable recipe. We use scan content to provide the recipe cleanup you requested, not for advertising or sale.

If you are signed in to iCloud, SupperScript can keep a private copy of your recipe library in your personal iCloud account so the same recipes can appear on your other SupperScript devices. That copy is stored in your private CloudKit database, under your Apple account. Oak & Finch Interactive does not host or have access to your synced recipe library, and it is not visible to other SupperScript users.

You can use SupperScript without iCloud. If iCloud is unavailable, your recipe library remains on the device where you created it.

When you choose to share or export a recipe, editable cookbook, or gift PDF, iOS lets you select where it goes. SupperScript does not send that share or export to Oak & Finch Interactive. Gift cookbook controls let you choose whether to include family stories, original recipe pages, and photos. Review the result before sharing; recipients can retain their own copies.

SupperScript is designed without third-party advertising, tracking, or an analytics service. Apple provides the optional iCloud and system services used by the app. OakShield processes a selected scan only when cloud cleanup is used; provider credentials stay on the service rather than in the app. The OakShield implementation stores app-attestation key identifiers, public keys, counters, and creation timestamps to verify requests.

Private CloudKit sync is separate from optional scan processing. Sync does not send your recipe library to Oak & Finch Interactive. To resume interrupted scans without repeating processing or charging the scan allowance twice, OakShield caches the processed recipe response with a request identifier and content fingerprint. Cached responses are eligible for deletion after 30 days and are removed during subsequent successful processing. The retry cache does not retain the source images. Service security records and hashed allowance counters support request verification and abuse prevention. Inference providers process submitted scan content under their own service terms.

Apple processes subscription payments. SupperScript reads verified App Store purchase status to enable Pro features. When you request Pro scan processing, OakShield receives the Apple-signed transaction and checks current subscription status with Apple. A hashed subscription identifier associates the processing allowance across your devices. We do not receive your payment card details. You can manage or cancel the subscription through your Apple Account; cancellation does not remove saved recipes or previously exported cookbooks.

You can deny or revoke camera and photo-library permission in iOS Settings. You can remove recipes from your library, delete the app's local data, and manage iCloud data through your Apple account settings.
