Yaveli privacy policy

Your photo, your business.

One selected photo. Art made on your iPhone. Here is what stays on your device and what happens when you choose to share.

The photo you choose

Yaveli is an iPhone photo-art app published by Oak & Finch Interactive LLC. You select one still photo through Apple's system photo picker. Yaveli imports that selected item, creates a local working image and preview, and applies visual treatments on your iPhone. It does not upload the selected photo or artwork to a publisher-operated server, scan your entire photo library, or require a Yaveli account.

Yaveli does not perform face or identity recognition, infer sensitive personal traits, or use a generative-AI service. A source photo may contain embedded information such as its capture date or location; the imported source file stays in local temporary storage and is not attached to analytics. If the selected photo is stored in iCloud, Apple's system picker may need a network connection to retrieve it.

Artwork, sharing, and backups

Completed JPEG exports are saved in Yaveli's local Gallery. When you use the system share sheet, the app or destination you select receives the image you choose to share. That destination, including Photos, messaging, email, or a cloud provider, handles the shared copy under its own practices.

Yaveli does not provide automatic account-based synchronization. Apple device backups or destinations you choose may nevertheless store copies according to your settings. Those services are separate from Yaveli's on-device processing.

Subscriptions and the free allowance

Apple handles the optional Yaveli+ subscription and payment. Yaveli uses StoreKit to verify subscription access and restore purchases, and stores a local entitlement cache. The publisher does not receive your payment-card details through the app. Apple may provide transaction and sales information through its developer services under Apple's own policies.

Yaveli stores completed-export dates locally to calculate the free weekly allowance. Deleting local photos and artwork does not reset that allowance, remove purchase records held by Apple, or cancel a subscription.

Local events and diagnostics

Yaveli records a limited set of event names, such as an export or subscription-screen opening, locally. It also keeps local counts and receipt times for Apple's MetricKit diagnostic reports. These records do not contain photo pixels, source filenames, precise location, face data, or personal descriptions. The app does not send them to a developer analytics endpoint.

There is no advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK, or tracking across other companies' apps and websites. Apple may process or share platform diagnostics and App Store information according to your device settings and its policies.

Keeping and deleting information

Imported source files use temporary app storage, which the system may clear. Exported artwork remains locally until you delete it or delete the app. Profile → Delete local Yaveli data removes the app's imported media and artwork and clears the current editor. Individual Gallery items can also be deleted with confirmation.

That in-app deletion does not remove the local export-allowance ledger, purchase cache, settings, or local event/diagnostic summaries. To remove all app-local data, use Delete App rather than Offload App in iPhone Settings. Save any artwork you want to keep first. Copies already shared or included in backups must be managed separately. We cannot remotely retrieve or delete files that remain solely on your device.

When you contact us

If you email support@oakandfinchinteractive.com, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you send. We use them to respond, investigate the reported issue, and maintain related support records. Email delivery and storage involve our email providers. Contact us to ask about or request deletion of support correspondence, subject to records we need to retain for legal or operational reasons.

You do not need to send your photo to get help. Prefer a description, a non-sensitive example, or a redacted screenshot. Do not send passwords, payment details, or private information about other people.

Policy updates and website visits

This policy describes Yaveli's current photo-art app. We will update this page and its date if those practices change. Website hosting, technical logs, and contact-form processing are described separately in the Oak & Finch Interactive website privacy policy.
